making a mountain out of a molehill
A funny incident happened to me this morning. Well, it was funny for some people *ehem*Mike*, but for me it really wasn’t. It was one of the worst things that happened to me in a while. I never imagined that something like that would happen to me, or that I would allow it to happen to me. But I got through it just fine and, as far as I can tell, no one noticed the whole thing.
This incident made me think about how maybe life was trying to teach me a lesson, because just last week, another related incident happened. Maybe that incident would have been funny too, if other people had been there to see it. To me it was simply upsetting. I find it frustrating that no matter how you try to keep things in order, it can still get really messy, and it’s not always up to you how things turn out.
I really don’t like this lesson. At all. I don’t like messy. (This may be one of the reasons I went to med school; its not easy, but its safe, and its predictable.) Nonetheless, here I am. I’m listening. I’m not afraid anymore.

The rare Grey Shire Horse, was bred solely for the purpose of pulling large weight (mostly for pulling coal out of mines). Because they were bred specifically for this, it’s necessary for the horses to do work each day in order to keep their leg muscles strong so they can support their body weight (1700 to 2000 pounds). Without those muscles, their legs would literally snap and the horse would collapse. Without fulfilling their purpose, they would destroy themselves.

dirty little secret
this is a tricycle ride on the street where i live, during one particularly rainy saturday nung 2009..tricycle kasi ang parang taxi dito sa area namin.. (read: ka-presyo ng taxi)
the story: this morning, an alleged holdaper bled to death in the middle of our street, right across the baranggay hall, a mere 15 minute walk from one of the best tertiary hospitals in the country.. (yung 15 minute walk pala, 5 minutes lang pag nagmamadali, 30 minutes by car, & 3 minutes lang by tricyle) he was surrounded by (a mob of) tricycle drivers.
so holdapers beware. pakiusap wag na kayong dumaan dito sa street namin. delikado ang buhay niyo dito.

because something special happened today.. The bad news is, it didn’t have anything to do with the exams..ang hirap kaya.. The good news is, it reminded me to always trust magic.. ^_^

kaya pala nakaka-like ka kaagad. :D uy, grabe di ko na maalala ang Para. @_@ naintriga ako maalala yung sagot. kasi feeling ko roundworm to. tapos nakacurve yung tail kasi male? pero ang taba niya :/ kelangan ko balikan ang Para. ano sagot?
iwi, ang hirap naman mag-usap dito, kelangan i-reblog, hehehe.. um, hindi ba to trichiuris??? shet, bukas na practicals, bakit di ko pa to alam.. :(
